Then sit back, relax and let us take care of the rest for you! Don’t forget that you can easily get a pair of sunglasses too!
You can easily contact your eye care professional (like an Optician or Optometrist). Following an eye exam, your prescription belongs to you!
You should also be able to locate your prescription on a previous eyeglass purchase invoice.
It’s not absolutely necessary to have a prescription to order from our website. You can also order glasses with blue filter protection and look stylish at the same time!

All frames at Lumyn Kestel have a manufactures defect warranty for the period of one year. Warranty claims are subjected to review. If established a frame is defective a one time replacement will be issued.
Warranty does not cover day to day wear and tear or accidental damage/impact.
Any cosmetic defects such as paint chips and scratches are not covered by warranty unless they were present during unboxing.

LENSES
Lumyn Kestel uses premium quality CR-39 as our standard lenses and 1.6 which is up to 15% thinner as our complimentary lenses which include the following benefits: Scratch resistant coating, Anti-Reflection coating and UV treatments.
Additionally we provide high index lenses for higher power prescriptions which provide the lenses to become thinner, lighter and more stylish!
-1.67 is up to 25% thinner, recommended for stronger prescriptions if total power combined is +/-4.0 or higher.
-1.74 is up to 35% thinner, recommended for stronger prescriptions if total power combined is +/-5.50 or higher

There are many different techniques to clean your lenses. For cleaning smudges use the premium cloth that is included with your glasses. You may also use luke warm water and mild hand soap to wash away any oils and debris followed up with the cleaning cloth to wipe and buff the lenses clean.
We do not offer Bifocal or Progressive lenses at present. We are always working toward expanding options for our customers, stay tuned for future updates.

All our sunglass lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays for the highest level of protection.
Our team of experts have curated a collection of sunglasses with pre-set lens colour tints. Each corresponding lens colour has been hand selected by our experts, to compliment the various styles they've been paired with.
PRESCRIPTION & MEASUREMENTS
We understand that figuring out what all those letters and numbers mean on your prescription can be confusing. Don’t hesitate just upload the image or email it to us at support@lumynkestel.com and our team of experts will take care of it for you.
For your convenience we have designed a few different ways for you to submit your prescription to us. You can either fill in the prescription directly into the “prescription box” found under the enter prescription button, or upload the picture or simply send us an email at support@LumynKestel.com
PD stands for Pupillary Distance, which is the distance in millimetres between the centers of your pupils of both eyes to get the most accurate and sharpest vision.
Your PD measurement may be written on your prescription by the eye doctor or your previous order. If you are unable to get it we suggest trying your local optometrist or optician. We will happily reimburse you up to $20 for the measurement. Simply take a picture of the receipt and send it to support@LumynKestel.com with your order number.

Typically contact lens prescriptions have been converted from your original eyeglasses prescription since a contact lens sits directly on top of your eye verses glasses that sit away from your eye. So using it may cause blurry or uncomfortable vision. Always make sure you have the correct eyeglasses prescription before entering it in.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Lumyn Kestell has a 30 day return/replacement policy on all our products if you are not happy with your eyewear for any reason, customer service is our utmost priority!
We feel that allowing our customers the maximum amount of time to comfortably wear and try their new eyewear is the way to go!
Please ensure the eyeglasses that are being returned are in the original condition as they were received. All packaging included with the glasses (Case + Microfibre cloth) must be returned as well.
Your refund will be issued to the original form of payment. If you have not received your refund within ten business days, please contact support@lumynkestel.com and we will look into it for you.
In the event you decide to exchange your pair of glasses with a lesser valued product, we will refund you the difference and if you decide to purchase a pair with a higher value product, you will have to pay the difference. Either way we will always be there for you to ensure you find your perfect pair!

FITTING
There are a couple of ways that ensure a good fit by looking in the mirror:
1. Your glasses should be as close as possible to the centre of your pupils
2. Your glasses should not be resting on your cheeks
3. Your lenses should not go beyond the width of your face
4. Your glasses should sit below your eyebrows
5. Your glasses should not slide down your nose.
We believe that the comfort that you feel wearing your glasses should be what dictates if your frame is fitting you correctly or not.
Our team of experts have carefully curated a collection of metal frames that allows you to individually customize the fit and feel of the glasses.
Lumyn Kestell specializes in metal and mixed frames that are easily adjustable at the nose bridge and this would solve for majority of the above concerns.
SUPPORT
Please follow the tips below from our eyewear experts:
Every pair of Lumyn Kestel glasses come with a protective hard case and our premium microfibre cloth. Regularly cleaning the lenses with this cloth and always keeping them in the case will keep your new glasses in the best condition.
Please refrain from keeping the glasses face down on any surface (lenses touching the surface), as this will cause scratches on the lenses. Never keep your glasses in your pocket or bag without protection as other items may scratch your frame and lenses unknowingly.
Please clean your cloth on a monthly basis by simply washing it with luke warm water and hand soap or simply throw it in with your laundry.
Last but not least, never wear your glasses on your head because they will stretch out and become loose. Finally, always wear your glasses on and off your face using both hands to prevent your glasses from becoming loose and lopsided. Follow these tips for a successful eyewear experience.
When trying a new pair of glasses, even if the prescription may or may not have changed you may experience some vision discomfort such as mild headaches, dizziness, floor and walls feeling wavy and staircase displacement. Don’t worry! These are all normal symptoms of adaptation which will go away with time.
To alleviate these potential symptoms, we recommend you to continuously wear your new pair of glasses without switching to your old pair. Another trick is to wear the new pair first thing in the morning as this will make it easier for your eyes to adapt.
If these symptoms persist after a period of 10-15 days we recommend a revisit to your eye Doctor to see if any tweaks are required to your prescription. If so email support@lumynkestel.com with your updated prescription, order number and we will get back to you with next steps.

Sure! We can apply a coupon code to your order and adjust your cost within 30 days of your purchase date. After 30 days have passed, we will not be able to extend this offer.

At Lumyn Kestel, our experts customize the fit of every pair if glasses prior to shipping. However, we do understand that some individuals may require further customization. Feel free to take your glasses to your local eye care professional for assistance in adjusting your glasses.
Some places may make complimentary adjustments, but others will charge a small fee. In that event, for your convenience, Lumyn Kestel will re-imburse up to $20 within the first year. You can utilize the full $20 for a one time use or split it between two times if you need to ($10 each)
